Representative ProjectsTransportation Studies (Private)Since transportation services were first offered by the firm in 1978, more than 400 projects (excluding those related to planning projects) have been successfully completed. Most have been traffic engineering studies related to land development projects. Some of the types and locations of these studies are listed below. Residential Projects - More than 150 studies have been completed for projects ranging in size from small single-family subdivisions to multi-family developments with more than 1,000 units. These projects have been located in:
Shopping Centers - Retail developments, including several in excess of 900,000 square feet, have accounted for approximately 80 traffic access/impact studies. Examples of the communities in which the studies have taken place include:
Office Developments - Access studies for a variety of office buildings and office parks have been completed for more than 80 clients including both private developers and major corporations such as Equitable Realty, Xerox, Miles Laboratories, and others. These projects range from small, single buildings to multiple building developments of 700,000 square feet.
Industrial Parks - About 30 industrial park studies, for projects as large as 4,000,000 square feet, have been completed in:
Area Traffic Studies - These projects -- approximately 30 -- include analyses of traffic operations/circulation in large areas of municipalities or, in some cases, long-range projections of traffic demands/needs within principal travel corridors.
School Studies - School studies include analyses for approximately 40 new or expanded elementary, middle and high schools as well as colleges and universities. Analyses were completed for vehicular and pedestrian access and circulation and parking layouts. Representative communities include:
Parking Studies - School studies include analyses for approximately 40 new or expanded elementary, middle and high schools as well as colleges and universities. Analyses were completed for vehicular and pedestrian access and circulation and parking layouts. Representative communities includeParking studies involving demand projections, economic feasibility, and/or preliminary design of facilities have been undertaken for about 20 parking authorities, hospitals, and developers. Representative communities include:
Other Projects - More than 150 other transportation projects have been completed including:
